The PATOL 176 Deg Digital Linear Heat Sensing (LHS) Cable is specifically designed for extreme-temperature environments where standard heat detection solutions are ineffective or unreliable. With a fixed alarm activation temperature of 176 Deg , this digital linear heat detection cable provides continuous temperature monitoring along its entire length, ensuring dependable fire detection in the most demanding industrial conditions.
This advanced digital LHS solution not only detects abnormal heat but also delivers accurate alarm location information, enabling rapid, targeted firefighting response and reduced operational downtime.
Digital Detection Principle
he PATOL 176 Deg digital LHS cable is constructed using two conductors separated by a specially formulated temperature-sensitive polymer. Under normal conditions, the conductors remain electrically isolated. When the surrounding temperature reaches 176 Deg, the insulation softens at the affected point, allowing conductor contact and triggering an alarm. The connected digital evaluation unit identifies the exact distance to the alarm point, providing precise fire location data.Key Features & Advantages
